Life in IOWA

Greetings, earthlings!! Apologies for my disappearance for so many days, so to make it up with you loyal readers, I'm going to write really long for this post, and add in every little details and upload every nice pictures I have taken. So, make sure you guys are not in a rush, take your time, read the whole post and you would feel like you've arrived in Iowa with me!! =)
-
Day 1:
Taking a flight from Miri to KL, and I started my day with a cup of ice blended green tea from Starbucks. :P
Reaching at KLIA and waited the whole afternoon there for the next flight which was due at night.

my perfectly-weighted luggage =)

Omg!! Is that camwhoring?!

I'm daddy's lil' daughter~

[United Airline]
Ps: I'm not gonna take this airline anymore!!

Well, I don't know I should write day 2 or day 3, for I would be in day 3 if I am in Malaysia, but I'm still in day 2 when I reach at Iowa. So, let's skip that day-thingy. Haha. Well, now, I've got American grandparents, Grandpa Dick and Grandma Judy. They are so friendly, they picked us at the airport and sent us back to our hostel. Oh yea, I've eaten my first American meal with them. =)

Day 4:
I went for academic advising today. Everything is a-okay and works out really well. I really like walking on the streets, feeling the breeze blowing. It's just so relaxing. No stress at all!! =) I'm
really lovin' this place, and I'm happy I'm here.

Hot cocoa for lunch~

Well, that's all for my few days here in Iowa City. Except for those little problems like: missing my luggages for like more than 2 days, sleeping in my cold room without any blanket on the first night, dropped my phone before coming to US and it died at that point, losing connections with my family and friends back in Malaysia for so many days, couldn't go online for that past few days........... so far, I'm doing quite well here. People are so friendly, just ask, and they would be glad to help you. Cool!!

Lovin' this place,
Lovin' this life,
I'm really lucky to be me!!
S.
